BIOGRAPHY

I’m Simone Dee, Director of Live to Sing Studio’s, I have travelled the world Singing in the Uk, Europe, Singapore, Indonesia, USA, and Australia. From 2 Seasons in the West End, London, The Edinburgh Festival, & Comedy Festivals in Ireland, and extensive touring with Musical Theatre from New York around Australia, ie: Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Beehive the 60’s Musical, and Aussie icon - Glenn Shorrock. Also performing with Paul Mac, & Guy Sebastion, to name a few. I was for many years a regular Guest vocalist on “Good Morning Aust” with Bert Newton, and the house band - backing vocalist on “Good News Week” with Paul McDermott backing Annastacia, Marcia Hines, Jimmy Barnes and various International / Australian Guests that came on the show. I still perform live now, with various Show Bands and Session work.

I began teaching 30 years ago and immediately fell in love with it. I’m a huge believer that singing is an incredibly healing and empowering skill to have. I have seen people of all ages gain self confidence, and this spreads through all elements of their lives, both work & play. I taught S2S, a very successful vocal duo, and  some of my students are now professional Singers here and in the UK. Some have gone on to become Singing teachers too. I’m blessed to love what I do, and I think that is part of the “Live to Sing” Magic. Whatever your motivation is to Sing, I suggest you give it a go, and really feel the difference it makes...
